The pastor, along with 05 others and his lawyer went to the Alahara Divisional Secretariat at around 10 a.m. to meet with the Divisional Secretary (DS) and the Assistant Divisional Secretary regarding the incident that took place on the 10th of August. Around 15 Buddhist monks were also present and demanded that the pastor stop his religious worship, claiming it to be a Buddhist village. The DS falsely accused the pastor of breaching the peace and asked him for a list of his congregants to be handed over to the Divisional Secretariat. The DS however, refused to state his demands in writing.
At approximately 4:30 p.m. a Sub-Inspector (SI) from the Bakamuna Police Station called the ministry worker and said that there had been a complaint filed against her and asked her to be present for an inquiry. The ministry worker then asked for this to be sent in writing.
